How can we assist?

All requests for collaboration are discussed and assessed by the NWORTH Core Operational Team.  The assessment will determine the level of NWORTH involvement if a proposal is accepted.  NWORTH involvement can range from full CTU engagement where a study is fully-managed by NWORTH or NWORTH can be responsible for discrete elements (e.g. statistics, data management etc...).

The assessment of study proposals is based on a number of factors including the quality of the research proposal, feasibility & deliverability, clarity of role and remit, funding & finances and the capacity of NWORTH to deliver within the proposed timeframe.

All of our studies are governed by our suite of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specifically developed for managing all aspects of our clinical studies to the highest of standards. These have been written in compliance with current regulatory requirements and principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Research Governance Framework, EU Clinical Trial Directive and other guidelines (NHS guidelines/policies/clinical governance).

Potential collaborators are advised to approach NWORTH as early in the process as possible and at least 6-8 weeks before a funding deadline. If you would like to engage with the Trials Unit in developing your research ideas further, then we would encourage you to fill-in & submit our Collaboration Request Form, by following the link below, in the first instance: Collaboration Request form
